Reflection
At the beginning of the course ENG 3UI, I was rusty with doing work on the computer. Throughout the course of the semester, however, I developed better computer skills, and am starting to actually prefer using tools such as Google Docs to complete assignments. I also enjoy having a web page that showcases all of my accomplishments throughout the course which I can look back on. From the feedback I have received, I have been able to significantly improve my formal writing skills. I initially would write far too much, as most of it was rambling, but learned how to cut away the excess and get to the point, which is a crucial writing skill for post-secondary English courses. I have also added a few things to the website to help clarify each assignment, such as a synopsis of my ISU novel, The Color Purple, for those who have not read it, a link to the 'Universal Declaration of Human Rights' for reference, and a link to the IMDb for Django Unchained. As for the website itself, I have gone through and made sure that everything coordinates and makes sense throughout with little tweaks here and there to the website's layout. As well, I have read over everything I have written on the website for proofreading. I have added in works cited where they are applicable. I have not made any major changes to an assignment, however, since I am happy overall with my work the way it is.
